If you’ve been following along, a little over 2 weeks ago I detached my lawn, preparing to overseed it. At that time, aside from putting seed down, nothing else was done besides watering. No fertilizer was applied. I go over this in more detail on the Comprehensive Guide To Overseed a Lawn.
Fast forward to today and I finally had my first mow since the overseed. Below are the before and after pictures from lawn detatching/overseed to today.
After the first mow at 3 inches, I put down starter fertilizer and watered it in. Next week I’ll add some more fertilizer at the same rate of .25lbs of N per 1000 sqft.
